What is Sinusitis?
Your sinuses are the air-filled cavities in your face, located behind your cheekbones and forehead. Sinusitis is known as a sinus infection or rhinosinusitis. It is the inflammation of the tissue lining your paranasal sinuses. This inflammation blocks your air pathways, which prevents air from traveling through your sinuses, and causes germs to collect in these pathways.
There are several forms of Sinusitis, including:
Chronic and recurrent are the most troubling forms of sinusitis. Chronic sinusitis is present when a sinus infection lasts at least 12 weeks. Sinusitis symptoms responding favorably to antibiotics and steroids and then recurs within several weeks after completing medication may be diagnosed as recurrent sinusitis.
If you are observing thick mucus coming out of your nose, a plugged nose, or pain in your cheeks or forehead, you may have sinusitis.

"Greatly impressed with the staff and Doctor."
They were all very courteous and came across as very caring. The doctor did not make me feel rushed and answered questions I had and my husband had about the procedure. Dr. Silveira was very warm and took time to explain things so I could understand. The treatment will be taking 4-6 months so will see if this continues! The office is very comfortable. They even have coffee and cookies available!! Never been in a doctors office that offered that for sure!

Everything was explained clearly to me. All of my questions were answered and my options in future treatments were explained to me. I felt like I was listened to and that the staff genuinely cared about me. I’m looking forward to coming back.

Sinusitis Treatment Plan
As a patient of Your Sinus Doctor / Ear Nose and Throat Clinic, you will be treated with care as we will consider all aspects of your health and condition before selecting the treatment that best eliminates the negative effects of your sinusitis.
When medications and sinus infection remedies fail to meet your long-term expectations, we recommend sinusitis treatment plans that may include office procedures or surgeries performed in an operating room.
